The accepted answer works by lowering the security on the client side. It is not enforcing the restriction in Windows 10 / Windows Server which was added for security purposes. It requires adjusting each of your clients.
On the other hand, the real answer is to raise the security on the server side and remove any mapping to guest accounts

When you try to open a network computer or a network shared folder, you receive the error â Windows cannot access Computerâs Name, shared folder or network drive letter. Hereâs why itâs occurring and how to fix the problem.
The Windows cannot access network drive or shared folder error usually show up with the descriptions â âNetwork error â Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose.â Or âYou do not have permission to access network computer, shared folder, network drive, or printerâ.
The error could be due to improper network setup between your Windows computer or incorrect folder or printer sharing settings. Most of the time itâs due to incorrect sharing permission settings and/or invalid username password for the user account on that particular shared network computer.
Fix: Windows Cannot Access Network Drive, Shared Folder or Network Computer in Windows 10
As mentioned earlier, the issue can be caused by many reasons and there is no way to know the exact cause of why the âWindows cannot access network shared folder, drive or computerâ is occurring in your computer.
Since the error directly relates to permission settings in your homegroup network, resetting and changing the sharing permission to allow the specific users to access to the computer, folder, drive or printer may help fixing the problem. In most cases, doing this should solve the issue.
Update: If you canât see the homegroup or the network computers at all from the network shared folder, itâs due to a recent Windows 10 update that completely remove the homegroup feature from its system. For more info, read â homegroup or network computers not showing up in Windows 10. If thatâs the case, you may need to re-share your network folder, drive or printer in order to get around the Windows cannot access network shared folder, network drive, network computer or printer error in Windows 10.
Re-configuring your network sharing permissions![]()
Our objective here is to grant permission to the users of which youâre accessing to the network shared folder, drive, computer or printer from. To ease things up, we will set to share the folder to the user called âEveryoneâ in Windows 10. Follow the steps below to do so.
Please do this only in your home network where the computers and users youâre going to share with can be trusted and that you have full control over it. If youâre sharing anything in your work network or anywhere else, you may want to consult your network administrator for further permissions.
Granting permissions for Everyone in the Security tab
Now that you have set to share the folder to âEveryoneâ whose permissions are granted to access and have full control to the shared folder, drive or printer, you will then need to add the Everyone user to the security list in order to truly grant full permissions for the Everyone user to access and make changes to this shared folder, drive or printer.
After completing the steps above, in the same properties window, go to Security tab. Under Group or usernames, click on the Edit button. Make sure you are doing this from an administrator account as clicking the Edit button requires administrative privileges.
Under Security tab, click on the Add button. In the select users or groups window, click Advanced.
In the next window, click on the Find Now button to find all users ever created in your Windows system.
Windows Cannot Access Network Computer Windows 10
From the list of users, look for a user called Everyone. Select it and click OK. Back to the select users or groups window, you should be seeing the Everyone user listed under Enter the object names to select.
Click OK to continue. Next, under security tab, highlight the Everyone user. Enable all check-boxes under Allow for full control, modify and all others to grant full permissions for the Everyone user to use this folder, drive or printer. Click Apply, then OK.
This is the correct way to share a folder, drive or printer to your network computers. Retry accessing to the folder again from your network computer. This should solve the Windows cannot access network shared folder, network drive, network computer or printer error in Windows 10.

I'm trying to access my New 3DS's MicroSD card on my computer via MicroSD Management. I HAVE done this before and it worked fine, but now it doesn't for some reason. My 3DS shows up in my network but when I click on it, it says 'Windows cannot access [my 3DS name]' along with a Diagnose button (which does nothing). I've read something about changing the speed/mbps of my router but I have no clue how to do that. I've also tried turning my firewalls off, to no avail. I really do not want to take the back off of my 3DS or buy an adapter(?).. help?
